What inspires you? “Where I am coming from and why I am doing what I am doing.”
What moment defined you? “The moment my mentor told me to go into broadcasting.”
How did you startup in your line of profession? “I used to be a social media Guy at STAR FM LAGOS, and then I knew I had what it took to actually be the voice on air that so much many people love to listen to but I needed an extra push and one of those days after I had the opportunity to work with my mentor Segun ShyShy Shyllon, he told me to see him in his car and said KOLADE, you have a great voice, you are unique and you are good, why don’t you take this thing very serious and that’s was the push that brought me here..”
What other profession have you ventured into before now? “I have worked for my father’s company as his personal assistant and project manager. I help in the day to running of his business and I’m sure he still misses me lol.”
What made you leave your dad’s business? “Every man has a dream, that was my dad’s dream and I needed to build mine.”
We know you to be an amazing OAP/talent manager. What are your type of talents do you manage so far? “I am thankful that I am not limited to one place, I am blessed and I have worked with DJS, musicians and actors etc. once you are talented at what you do, I can work with you.”
How many talents have you managed? “I think I have worked with about 4 or 5.”
How do you handle down moments since you started your career? “So many times but I remember why I started in the first place, PS: The grace of God has kept me and THE FEAR OF POVERTY LOL.”
Who or what made you go into OAP & talent management? “I went into Talent Management because I had worked closely with entertainers for a while and I saw their flaws, needs what went wrong with their career and what their team was missing. I was Able to decipher exactly what they need and that’s what I can provide.”
How many celebrities have you worked with so far? Can you list some of them? “I have worked with a number of them, in different capacities, and we still working….. Toby Grey, T Classic, Tm9ja, Oyinkanade to name a few.”
As a young, handsome and talented man, how do you handle pressures from male colleagues, opposite sex, your fans and your clients? “Right from the Get Go, I have succeeded in training myself to work well under pressure, under relationships, know how to draw the line luckily for me none has crossed the line.”
Any current/future projects? “Currently working on expanding the 10O8 World brand, working on my Artiste’s body of work, just watch my space”
What's your advice for the upcoming ones in your field of profession? “Y’all stay positive, work on your mind and craft, work as hard and smart as you can.”
Your last words to family/fiends/fans? “Be critical when you take decisions and be prayerful. It’s the only way to the top.”
